If you've been around my blog recently, you know I've been on a major chevron stripe kick! But really, who hasn't?!
It all started with some adorable Valentine's Day printables from DimplePrints that were not only a perfect mantel decoration, but {free}! Around the same time I stocked my Etsy shop with several new bowties, including lots of chevron options **AND** am currently hosting a {giveaway} for a chevron striped bow or bowtie. Winner announced February 1. Enter here.
Today, I'm finally venturing beyond chevron land and into the fun and retro world of {mustaches}, another trend that I'm loving right now! Check out my son's adorable Valentine's!
Ok, you're right, I didn't really venture out of chevron land, but when you've got a good thing going, why leave?! These printables are {free} thanks to the wonderful ladies over at DimplePrints.
My son actually loves the mustache trend, too. One of his aunts was holding a mustache prop on their Christmas card and Kyler was immediately infatuated with it. When I handed him his own mustache prop a few weeks later for these Valentine's, he clearly knew just what to do!
And lucky me, I happened upon mustache ribbon in Hobby Lobby soon after....hmmm, how to make use of this find? This is what I decided on:
First, my son {loves} wearing bracelets. It's kinda weird, but we're rolling with it. Second, I didn't really think bags of chocolate or hard candy were appropriate Valentine's treats for a one and two year old, so I was already looking for an alternative. Tah-Dah! Fruit loop bracelets with a mustache bow.
Stay tuned for more {mustache} love this week!!
